Maintenance

By carrying out regular maintenance tasks you will not only maximise the lifespan of your artificial cricket surface, but ensure it remains safe and offers optimum performance. All clients are supplied with a guide to essential maintenance tasks on completion of their new system however, for clubs seeking support in the maintenance of their non turf match and practice facilities, total-play offers a comprehensive range of services. From the cleaning of carpets and nets through to repairs you can let the experts take the strain. Services include:

Refurbishment

Existing facilities and surfaces will, over time, require renovation. Worn playing surfaces can create trip hazards and cause uneven ball bounce. Facilities deemed to be outside of Performance Quality Standards (PQS) could result in litigation following an accident. On the other hand, following damage by flood or other accidents, non turf surfaces need careful refurbishment to ensure they are bought back to the necessary PQS.Whatever the cause of the damage, to establish if your facility falls short of industry standards, our employees will carry out a test in accordance with ECB standards and guidelines. Testing produces immediate results and can be carried out in the presence of a ground representative and, once the standard of existing facilities is determined a practical solution can be identified. The total-play team is able to refurbish:
