Terms & Conditions

Competition closes at midnight on 31st October 2023. Prize is one 4m x 25m cover worth £290+ VAT. total-play will also cover the cost of delivery to clubs on UK mainland (Highlands and Islands may be subject to additional charge). The winner will be picked at random from all correct entries. No cash alternative, prize not transferable. To be eligible, entrants must be aged 18+, UK resident and confirm at point of entry the name of the cricket club or school they wish the prize to be presented to, should they win. The winning club will be asked to take part in PR / social media activity with total-play Ltd on delivery of their cover.

Governing Law

The Competition (including these Rules, any Specific Rules and all matters incidental thereto) shall be governed by English law and all parties shall submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

Final provisions

By submitting an entry, participants agree to be bound by the above rules.

Should individual provisions of these Terms and Conditions be or become invalid or unenforceable, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of these Terms and Conditions, which shall remain in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be replaced by a valid and enforceable provision which comes as close as possible to the presumed intention and the intended purpose of the contract, and the parties undertake to make the necessary declarations to this.

It is important that Participants read this notice so that Participants are aware of how and why total-play Ltd are using such personal data. total-play Ltd will collect and process Participant’s personal data for the purposes of administering the Competition; keeping a record of the Winner for compliance and auditing purposes and to provide the Winner with their prize.

  4. Name of cricket club or school you are entering to win the cover for

total-play Ltd is the “Data Controller” of Participants personal data. This means that the total-play Ltd decides what personal data is used for, and the ways in which it is processed. For the avoidance of doubt, personal data will be collected and processed solely for the purposes set out in this privacy notice. As the data controller, total-play Ltd has the responsibility to comply, and to demonstrate compliance with, data protection law.

Sharing Participants personal data

total-play Ltd works with approved third-party providers who help the total-play Ltd to provide some of its services. These partners only use Participants’ personal data on behalf of the Promoter and not independently of total-play Ltd.

total-play Ltd may share personal data with a third party where required or permitted by law.

Retaining personal data

total-play Ltd shall keep records of Winners for two (2) years for auditing and compliance purposes.

Participants’ rights and more information
