TGC Frost Protection & Germination Cover
The TGC (Total Growth Cover) is a frost protection and germination system. A modern winter games pitch solution suitable for clubs of all levels requiring frost protection and germination for their natural winter games pitches.
The dual-purpose cover acts as an insulation blanket that allows the pitch to breathe; while offering a series of multi-layer configurations that can provide play-ready surfaces down to -6°.
The easy-to-handle bespoke fabric also creates the perfect microclimate for grass germination. Protecting the surface from wind and birds. The material is porous and breathable. The TGC allows the surface to retain warmth and encourages grass plant establishment.
Used at Premier League football grounds, a national hunt racecourse, the Lawn Tennis Association, the Irish Rugby Football Union, Copenhagen F.C. & Harlequins RFC.

Enhancing Seed Germination
Constructed from a fabric that increases ground temperature and protects the covered area from pests and climatic conditions whilst allowing air and water circulation, TGC creates a proven germination and propagation environment.
It increases the percentage of seed germination and allows newly seeded areas to be watered whilst creating air circulation and retaining moisture, dramatically speeding up the grass plant establishment period.
The TGC fabric increases ground temperature and strikes the correct balance between maintaining air temperature, allowing the grass plant to breathe, and protecting the covered area from pests and climatic conditions.
