Different MUGA Surfaces

Synthetic Turf

Artificial grass turf features a rubber infill layer that mimics natural playing characteristics. This MUGA surface type is ideal for a range of sports, including hockey, rugby and football. Maximising shock absorption and providing a level, durable surface, artificial turf can be installed in different pile heights to meet specific sporting needs.

In-situ or preformed shockpads can be constructed in varying thickness from 15mm to 35mm. The shock pads are altered depending on the surfaces’ use and consist of a polyurethane binder mixed with rubber crumb/shred.

Our surfaces have been designed by cricketers, for cricketers to offer a balanced game between bat and ball, and promote every aspect of the modern game. In effect, they replicate a good level league pitch while providing a safe, consistent surface on which to practice. These attributes lend the MUGA surface equally to low-level practice of other sports as well as being suitable for general play.

When it comes to perimeter fencing, everything from height to colour can be tailored to your needs. Waist height fencing or not, you can choose between a natural steel finish or powder-coated to match school colours. Possible additions and finishing touches can include line markings, integrated goal mouths, basketball and netball hoops and flood lights.
