Multi Use Games Areas – or MUGAs – are versatile and cost-effective investments, offering a sports facility suitable for various activities.

total-play has worked with a range of clients to design and install facilities that are tailored to the client’s exact requirements. MUGAs can be used for sports, including football, basketball, netball, hockey and tennis.

Design options include:

  • Surfacing – Synthetic Turf or Macadam Hard Court
  • Fencing – Fully Enclosed Roof, Rebound Panels, Kick Boards, Goal Recesses & Netball/Basketball Hoops
  • Base Constructions – Engineered or Dynamic Profiles. Designed to suit characteristics and preferred pitch performance.

MUGA Upgrades-Refurbishment-Resurfacing

The total-play team can advise on best practices to complete upgrades or refurbishment works. Bringing the facility to the required standard and ready for play. Services include:

  • Convert an existing macadam tennis court / MUGA into a synthetic playing surface
  • Removal & refurbishment of an existing macadam surface
  • Repair or replacement of existing security fencing
  • Installation of drainage to convert a non-porous tennis court / MUGA into a free-draining facility
  • Cleaning of courts – including weed killing, jet wash, new line markings and court painting (single colour, two-tone options to suit client’s needs)
  • Installation of recessed football/basketball goals
  • Installation of recessed sockets for tennis and netball posts
  • Installation of ball catch netting
  • Installation of an in-situ or preformed shock pads
